MEPL began its journey in 1989, manufacturing color and black-and-white televisions. At a time when most TVs supported only eight channels and lacked remote controls, we introduced India’s first 90-channel remote converter kit, transforming ordinary TVs into fully functional, remote-operated units. It was a bold move that marked the start of our legacy of innovation.
Today, MEPL is more than just a manufacturer—it’s a name trusted across India for smart, scalable, and affordable electronic solutions. By the early 2000s, MEPL expanded its product range to include DVD players, VCD players, and home theatre systems—bringing advanced entertainment technology into Indian homes at affordable prices. We were among the first to launch 5.1 Home Theatre Systems with Dolby-DTS technology and both optical and coaxial inputs, setting new benchmarks in audio innovation. This positioned MEPL as a brand known for quality, innovation, and value.
Today, MEPL stands as a trusted manufacturer of LED televisions, Interactive Flat Panel Displays, home audio systems, and a wide range of electronic accessories. We actively partner with organizations driving digital education, contributing to smarter classrooms across government and private institutions. In June 2022, we reached a significant milestone by setting up India’s first printer manufacturing facility—yet another step in our journey of innovation.
